As construction continues on EHOVE Career Center’s facility project, changes to campus entrances and parking areas are helping create a safer, more organized campus for students, staff and visitors while supporting the long-term vision for the expanded campus.
There is a new campus entrance and large parking lot for the public on the west end of campus near the burn tower. Visitors to campus should generally use this new west entrance. This entrance provides convenient access to the public parking area and will serve as the primary point of entry for most campus visitors.
The original campus entrance on the east side is now for deliveries, health center patients, parent drop-off/pick-up, and students. This separation helps direct different types of campus traffic to the areas that best serve their needs while construction continues across campus.
Additionally, there is an entrance for Cosmetology clients and Board Office visitors at the western corner of campus, and a student-only entrance near the eastern corner of campus.
These changes are part of the larger facility project, which will transform EHOVE’s campus and create expanded, modern learning environments for students and Adult Ed learners. As construction progresses, entrances, parking areas and traffic patterns may continue to change as different areas of the campus transition through the construction process.
While some of the changes are necessary during construction, they are also helping establish the foundation for a campus designed to better serve EHOVE students, staff, businesses and community members for years to come.
