EHOVE Career Center is growing opportunities for students through a new partnership with New London Local Schools that will bring career-technical education directly to New London High School.  Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, students will have access to hands-on learning experiences in Manufacturing and Culinary Arts without leaving their home district. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to providing relevant, career-focused education that prepares students for in-demand fields.

Through this partnership, EHOVE will deliver instruction, curriculum, and industry-aligned resources on-site at New London High School. Students will engage in real-world learning while remaining connected to their school community, an approach designed to remove barriers and expand access to career pathways.  The program will introduce students to career exploration early in their high school experience and provide upper-level students with opportunities to build advanced skills. Courses will emphasize practical application, helping students develop technical knowledge, workplace readiness, and a clearer vision for their future.

“This partnership represents how schools can work together to create more opportunities for students,” said Superintendent Chris M. McCully. “By bringing career tech education closer to home, we are helping students explore their interests, gain valuable skills, and take meaningful steps toward their future.”  The New London site will also serve as a regional hub, with the potential to welcome students from neighboring districts. This collaborative model allows more students to access specialized programming while maintaining their connection to their home schools.

EHOVE Career Center remains focused on preparing the future workforce through skilled, hands-on education. Partnerships like this ensure students across the region have access to high-quality learning experiences that lead to credentials, careers, and continued education.
