EHOVE students participated in the state competitions for DECA and Educators Rising to demonstrate their skills against students from other schools. Two Education & Family Careers students have advanced to the DECA national competition to represent EHOVE.

Participating in student organizations and competitions allows students to experience the leadership opportunities, community service work, chance to apply the career field skills they’ve learned, and professional connections and opportunities.
DECA is an organization designed to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe to become academically prepared, community-oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders.
