EHOVE students have made their mark on the national level by placing in the top spots at competitions through their student organizations! The competitions provide an opportunity for students to showcase the skills they've learned in their career tech programs.
A team of four students finished in 2nd place at the Educators Rising National Competition in Dallas, TX. A team of three students students finished in 3rd place in the SkillsUSA National Competition in Louisville, KY.
EHOVE students participate in student organizations and the competitions to experience the leadership opportunities, community service work, chance to apply the career field skills they’ve learned, and professional connections and opportunities.
Educators Rising is a national membership organization that provides students with authentic opportunities to experience teaching and build the skills they need to be successful educators. As a member of the National Coordinating Council of Career and Technical Student Organizations (NCCCTSO), Educators Rising offers resources and opportunities that integrate directly into the academic programs of “teacher academy” career and technical education courses at the high-school level.
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. The Ohio chapter provides its 31,500+ career-technical education members, which includes many EHOVE students, the opportunity to participate in local, regional, state and national competitive events, and encourages students to give back to the community through various community service activities.
