Career Based Intervention
Career Based Intervention is a work-based program for students who will benefit from working part-time during the regular school day.
Career Focus:
Prepare for post secondary education and/or career.
Opportunities:
- Paid Co-op Work Experiences approved by the instructor and be a minimum of 12 hours per week
- Career Exploration through non-paid work-based learning experiences, job shadowing, volunteering and service learning activities.
Program Highlights:
- Be active in work-based education that develops employability and problem solving skills
- Create and implement a career plan
- Experience a supportive learning environment that stresses success while helping to develop life skills
