Transportation Systems: AUTO BODY

ASE Certified

    Program Highlights:

    This program follows the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certificated curriculum areas:

  • Assess, estimate, repair, and refinish the body and interior of damaged vehicles
  • Straighten and replace damaged parts using modern welding, sanding, masking, and painting procedures
  • Utilize professional techniques of metal and adhesive repair

    


Equipment Students Will Use:

  • DeVilbiss Prep Station
  • Down Draft spray booth
  • Body Shop air tools
  • Semi-automatic MIG machines
  • Oxy-Acetylene welding unit
  • Chief EZ Liner Frame Rack and Universal Laser Measuring System

Get Involved 

Auto Tech students will become members of Skills USA VICA, an association of trades and industry students. Skills USA VICA allows students to participate in competitive events, fund-raisers, community service projects and social chapter activities.
