EHOVE’s Business Professionals of America Students shine at competition

Students in the Computer Networking Technician and Interactive Media Technology programs at EHOVE Career Center participated with many students from several high schools and other career centers at the Ohio Region 7 Business Professionals of America (BPA) competition on February 3. BPA is the leading Career Technical Student Organization for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.
EHOVE Interactive Media Technology Instructor Dustin Lowery said, "This event is repeated in over 17 more regions in Ohio. Region 7 students come from Tiffin to Ashland to Sandusky, and everywhere in between, to earn the right compete at the State Level in Columbus on March 18-19. Just placing at Regionals is a significant accomplishment, as there were over 250 students competing in a variety of events."
Competition areas included Financial Services, Information Technology, Financial Math & Analysis, Integrated Office Applications, Advanced Word Processing Skills, Desktop Publishing, Network Administration-Microsoft, System Administration-Cisco, Computer Network Technology, Management/Marketing/Human Resources, C++ Programming, VB.Net Programming, Java Programming, and PC Servicing & Troubleshooting, Information Technology Concepts, and Management/Marketing/Human Resources Concepts.
