Robotics/Rocketry Summer Camp Fun

Sixty five area fifth - ninth grade students took advantage of Robotics/Rocketry engineering summer camps during June.
Students had fun experiencing a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields and meeting new people.
The Vex and Legos camps were sponsored by EHOVE Career Center, BGSU Firelands and Workforce Development Council/Tech Prep. The Summer Blast Off Camp was sponsored by EHOVE Career Center, Workforce Development Council/Tech Prep and NASA.
Each camp concluded with a contest or demonstration to exhibit skills learned, and the Rocketry Camp ended with a trip to NASA Plum Brook for a rocket launch.
