Two instructors reach milestone

Congratulations to Cosmetology Instructor Celia Hall and Business & Marketing Instructor Jennifer Steinbrick.  They both recently passed the Resident Educator Summative Assessment (RESA) which is a requirement for third year teachers by the Ohio Department of Education.

The assessment is a year-long series of tasks that demonstrate good teaching practices.  It is a performance-based assessment that an Ohio beginning teacher, known as a resident educator, must successfully pass. The assessment calls for resident educators to demonstrate their ability to design and implement instruction that: engages students in complex thinking; and uses formative and summative assessments to inform their teaching practices.
