EHOVE Career Center will give away a car to one lucky student as part of its Perfect Attendance Initiative. Students qualify as having perfect attendance if they have no absences, no tardies, and no suspensions. 31 EHOVE students had perfect attendance, and four had perfect attendance for both of their years at EHOVE.

Locals treated to top cuisine by EHOVE students

Guests came from throughout Erie, Huron and Ottawa Counties to the Sandusky Bay Area Chef’s Association Scholarship Dinner on February 4 to select their dinner from an array of incredible cuisine prepared by EHOVE Culinary Arts high school and adult education students. The yearly meal is a fundraiser for various projects promoting culinary education for local students.

National Recognition for Surg Tech

The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) has awarded EHOVE’s School of Surgical Technology the annual Merit Award to recognize the program’s 100% graduate pass rate on the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination for 2011.

EHOVE students presented with local scholarships

Norwalk Lions Club members and the Bader Family, owners of Summit Motorsports recently presented scholarships to two EHOVE students. EHOVE Criminal Justice student Kaitlin Rucker (Edison HS) was awarded a $2,000 scholarship from the Norwalk Lions Club and the Bader Family. After graduating this spring, Rucker will enroll in EHOVE Adult Education’s EMS Academy.
