Red carpet skills
Cosmetology students and alumni from EHOVE Adult Career Center volunteered their time and talent to help the stars of the movie “Gore Orphanage” to look stunning on the red carpet premiered at the Sandusky State Theater on July 11.
This is not their first time volunteering for local theater plays and productions. “Events like this are always exciting,” said Cosmetology Instructor Regena Vanover. “I love these opportunities for my students to be a part of, and also reconnecting with alumni here, which is always fun.”
Actors enjoyed the VIP treatment, including hair and makeup from EHOVE. “I really appreciate EHOVE’s participation,” said local actress Cari Pisano. “They made everyone look so beautiful, and did a fantastic job on my hair.”
“We are very thankful for EHOVE, especially for the little girls involved in the film, which will make the red carpet memorable for them,” said Gore Orphanage Producer Emily Lapisardi.
