Academic Virtual Learning Courses

  • Academic classes are offered via a Virtual Learning Academy. Students are enrolled in on-line courses and complete the work through interactive lessons.
  • Students attend class where a certified teacher is present to help guide students through the lessons.
  • Another certified teacher in the subject area of the lessons will meet with the students at least once a week to answer questions and explain any concepts that the students are having trouble with. This teacher will also assign the grade.
  • Students complete the amount of lessons based on the credit needed. (36 completed lessons will earn 1 credit and 18 completed lessons will earn 1/2 credit.)

Physical Education

Physical Education

  • Summer School Physical Education is open for the 2008/09 sophomores, juniors and seniors who have at least 1/4 credit of Physical Education.
  • Physical Education is offered first session only—June 9 —June 27. 1/4 credit may be earned.
  • Students are expected to be in attendance each day for the entire class (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon).
  • Students are allowed only two absences. Three tardies to class or tardies returning from break will be counted as an absence.
  • Students need to dress appropriately for participating in physical activity outdoors.

Summer School Expectations

Enrolling in EHOVE’s Summer School requires commitment both on the part of the student and their parents.

  • Students will complete the computer-based assignments in the VLA course.
  • Students will attend all sessions until all lessons are completed and graded.
  • No more than two lessons are to be submitted for grading each day.
  • Students are allowed only two absences. Three tardies to class or tardies returning from break will be counted as an absence.

How to Apply

  • Fill out the form below.
  • Obtain signature from your High School Principal.
  • Send to EHOVE Career Center with full payment of tuition.
  • Applications are accepted through June 1, 2008.
  • Spaces are limited—apply early.
