All Teacher Academy students will be assigned internships in the associate schools. These experiences will change approximately every three weeks and will include exposure to multiple age levels and subject areas, including early childhood, middle childhood, high school, special education, and career technical education.
The capstone project of the Teacher Academy will be the completion of a senior portfolio and the presentation of the portfolio to an authentic audience. The portfolio assessment will be organized according to the four domains of teaching.

Upon successful completion of the Teacher Academy, students will receive
3 high school credits from EHOVE Career Center and 6 college credits from Firelands College, BGSU for the half-day program.
Teacher Academy students will become members of the Future Educators of America. |
