PROSPECTIVE
STUDENTS

Construction Technologies > Carpentry

Students will have the opportunity to learn safe use of hand tools and equipment associated with residential construction.
Students are able to enhance their skills through laboratory projects. Senior students construct a variety of structures to develop skills in blueprint reading, framing and roofing. These projects help students to sharpen their knowledge and hand skills by applying them to “real world” situations.

A variety of work-based learning experiences are available to all students at EHOVE. These include job shadowing, guided mentorship during the summer (5th Quarter), and senior job placement.
