ASE Certified
Automotive YES School
Auto Technology provides training for entry level technicians. This program provides practical experience in areas of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification and automotive business management. Auto Tech also provides an internship opportunity during the summer between the Junior and Senior year for students meeting eligibility requirements through the Automotive YES program.

A variety of work-based learning experiences are available to all students at EHOVE. These include job shadowing, guided mentorship during the summer (5th Quarter), and senior job placement. Students with high attendance and grades may be released from school to earn and learn on the job during their senior year.

As an Automotive YES school, instructors, students, automobile manufacturers and local dealerships work cooperatively to prepare students for the highly technical skills needed by Auto Technicians today.

Students enrolled in this program can expect to work on a fleet of new automobiles with up to date diagnostic equipment. Other benefits available to students who want to succeed include:

The latest in electronic diagnostic equipment in the automobile repair industry. We have a fleet of new automobiles to be used by the students for training.

Get Involved
Auto Tech students will become members of Skills USA VICA, an association of trades and industry students. Skills USA VICA allows students to participate in competitive events, fund-raisers, community service projects and social chapter activities.
