EHOVE Retail Career students win DECA Diamond contests

Students from EHOVE Career Center’s Retail Careers program took 23 awards (7 of them First Places trophies) at the DECA Diamond Competition held April 23 at Tri-Rivers Career Center in Marion.
Penny Adelman, EHOVE's DECA Advisor and Retail Careers instructor, and Sheryl Miller, educational aide, accompanied students to Marion. Toni Taylor of Sandusky’ Elder Beerman store devoted her day to judging contests.
DECA is a co-curricular, career technical student organization that utilizes competitive events to expose students to decision-making situations that the student will face in their chosen career of marketing and management.
