The session covered the computer-based Ohio Career Information System (OCIS), administered by the Ohio Department of Education to aid students and adults along a career path.
Ohio’s Career Development Program provides educational services to all 612 Kindergarten-12 public school districts. The goal of the program is to help Ohio’s students learn more about educational and career options while they develop skills in decision making and goal setting, and work habits and attitudes. These skills are developed through career exploration activities as well as classroom integration activities.
