Responsibilities/Skills Needed: Norwalk Precast Molds, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Drafting Technician. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated proficient ability to: create 2-D drawings and 3-D models using SolidWorks; edit and update existing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD; insure compliance with project drafting standards and established internal and external project timelines; and, generate production Bills of Materials.

Success in the position will largely depend upon the individual’s ability to thrive in a project-oriented setting where targets and goals can change on a regular basis. The candidate must possess real world experience in the creation of complex drawings using SolidWorks.  A two year degree or the equivalent experience is preferred. Effective project management skills and the ability to work cooperatively with all functional disciplines are essential.
