Responsibilities/Skills Needed: Norweco, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Engineer/Mold Division. The Mold Division designs and fabricates metal molds for the precast concrete industry. Visit our website at www.norwalkprecastmolds.com for further company information.
Qualified candidates will have demonstrated proficient ability to: create 2-D drawings and 3-D models using SolidWorks; edit and update existing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD; insure compliance with project drafting standards and established internal and external project timelines; and, generate production Bills of Materials.
Success in the position will largely depend upon the individual’s ability to thrive in a project-oriented setting where targets and goals can change on a regular basis. The candidate must possess real world experience in the creation of complex drawings using SolidWorks. A four year degree in mechanical engineering or the equivalent experience is preferred. Effective project management skills and the ability to work cooperatively with all functional disciplines are essential.
