Identity Theft: What Is It and What Can You Do?

Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the world.   It happens when a criminal gets enough of your personal information to successfully impersonate your identity over the phone, on the Internet, or in person.  By recent accounts, more than 10 million people each year fall victim to identity theft, and many do not discover the crime until it is too late.

You will learn who the criminals are, the methods they use, and the damage they can inflict.  You will also learn the best ways to protect yourself, how to tell if you have been victimized, and what to do if it happens to you.
