Prepare for an exciting career in Cosmetology.
You can travel the world for education and your job. Work on a cruise ship or for companies that hire you to represent their product lines. Perform techniques on stage as a platform artist or work at movie companies as a makeup artist. Sound too exciting for you? You can also work local at a Spa and specialize in one certain field such as nails, hair, or skin. Don’t forget Dermatologists offices which are now doing specialized skin treatments.
This program meets the requirements of the Ohio Board of Cosmetology and is designed to teach and allow individuals the opportunity to learn and grow in this vast career field. Our new lab and experienced instructors provide the ultimate learning experience. Guest speakers, guest educators, field trips, and the latest products and equipment are utilized for the ultimate learning experience.
The program consists of theory classes (classroom), practical lab experiences (working on mannequins), and clinical experiences (working on individuals). Upon completion of the program, students are prepared to sit for the state board license test. Upon licensure cosmetologists may receive salary based on wages, commission based wages, and/or tips.

Managers Program |

This program meets the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology
criteria to sit for the Manager’s Test. According
to current state law a Cosmetologist must work in
the industry with another Cosmetologist who holds
a manager’s license for 1 year before they can
work alone. Taking this course allows the new Cosmetologist
to take an exam and work alone without waiting that
time period.
This coursework will include advanced Cosmetology techniques and salon management.

Manicuring
and Nail Technology is booming, nail salons are
opening in malls, strip centers and just about anywhere
you can imagine. The nail courses provide
the necessary training for a student to become a
Nail Technician or a Nail Shop owner, or rent a
table in an existing salon. This course will
teach the student all aspects of artificial nails,
free hand nail art, manicuring, corrective manicures,
anatomy and physiology, nail chemistry, as well
as proper sanitation and salon practices.
Students will learn all techniques through classroom
and clinic experience. We are dedicated to
the highest level of education for tomorrow's beauty
professionals and the continued accomplishments
of our graduates.
