ABLE  -  Adult Basic and Literacy Education

Free classes to improve basic skills and prepare for college, career & the GED
To get a good job today, you need basic academic and workforce skills, and access to affordable, high-quality higher education options.  Improve your reading, math, writing or English skills, prepare for the GED test, and get ready to go to college or to an adult certificate training program to get a better job.  Services for non-English speakers are included.  Workplace education for businesses with employees in need of skill enhancement for 21st century jobs is also available.  ABLE Classes are free to anyone 18 and older.  Students who are 16 or 17 must provide documentation of official withdrawal from school on official school letterhead signed by the superintendent or designee, or provide written evidence of a high school diploma. 

All students are required to contact the ABLE office before attending class. Orientation and assessments are required prior to attending classes.
