MARINE TRADES TECHNICIAN

    Designed for anyone interested in working in the marine industry, this 850-hour program encompasses the following areas:  marine technician fundamentals, outboard and outdrive engines, trailer operation and maintenance, boating safety, marine safety, electrical, plumbing, fiberglass repair, winterizing and a 200-hour on-site daytime internship.  Also included in this program:  First Aid/CPR/AED, computer training, technical writing, customer service, and employability training.  This is high- demand training. 

Register early, class size is limited.

Prerequisite:  High School Diploma or GED and a passing score on the Career Test
