Careers:  Physician's medical assistant, medical office receptionist, billing clerk, office manager, clinical supervisor

Learn:  The Medical Assistant program prepares you to be a Medical Assistant in a physician's office or other medical setting.

Skills:  Office Billing Procedures, Customer Service Skills, Professionalism, Venipuncture, Injections, EKG, and vital signs to name a few.

Cool!:  Medical Assisting is one of the fastest growing allied health care careers.  Having both administrative and clinical training allows for more employable opportunities.

Certifications:  Become a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)                                      Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) credential goes wherever you go, as it is a national certification recognized by employers across the country.

Hands on Learning

Requires 200 hours of physician office training

This experience allows opportunity to perform many of the skills studying throughout the program such as medical office billing, venipuncture, vital signs, and EKG to name just a few.
