Chris McCully, Superintendent, x244

Mr. McCully joined EHOVE in 2019 as the district's fifth superintendent.  A professional background with a broad range of experience in career tech and K-12 education has provided him with a solid understanding of students and their environments. Prior to becoming Assistant Superintendent at Polaris Career Center in 2007, he was Associate Principal at Strongsville High School, Elementary Principal at Surrarrer and Wilcox Elementary Schools, and Student Coordinator, Coach and Math, Science and Language Arts Teacher at Morton Middle School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University and a Masters of Science in Education from University of Dayton. He holds professional licenses of superintendent, elementary principal, secondary principal and elementary (1-8) teacher.

Erika Beckman, Principal, x230

Mrs. Beckman lives in Republic and brings experience as a CAD instructor at The Tech Center, and process analyst and I.T. specialist at ThyssenKrupp Atlas, with her. She earned a Master of Education from the University of Toledo, a Bachelor of Science in Technology from Bowling Green State University, an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering/CAD/CAM from Terra Community College and a Principal’s License from the University of Findlay.



Matt Ehrhardt, Assistant Director, x379

Mr. Ehrhardt graduated from Edison High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (grades 1-8) from the University of Toledo, a Master’s degree and Principal’s Licensure (grades 4-12) from Ashland University. He has obtained his Superintendent’s Licensure through Ashland University as well. Ehrhardt taught in the classroom for eight years, then spent three years in Avon Lake as an Assistant Principal, before returning to the area where he was the Principal at Edison Middle School and the district Transportation Director.


Kelly Bodkin, Assistant Director, x368

Mrs. Bodkin is a graduate of Bedford High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Career & Technical Education from the University of Toledo and a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University.  She was the Forensic Investigations Instructor for several years at EHOVE and previously was a Police Officer with Cedar Point Police Department and a State Trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.  Mrs. Bodkin has been very involved with community service and volunteer activities as a resident of Milan and with EHOVE students in SkillsUSA.


Charlie Warthling, Assistant Director, x360

Mr. Warthling is a graduate of Western Reserve High School, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education from Ohio State University and a Master’s degree in Supervision Administration from Bowling Green State University.  At Mapleton Local Schools, Mr. Warthling taught ag and was the FFA Advisor, then later became an Administrative Supervisor at Lorain County JVS.  Mr. Warthling is also a volunteer firefighter in North Fairfield, works on the family farm and is involved with FFA, Huron County 4-H and Northern Ohio F.O.O.L.S.  


Elizabeth Becher, Assistant Director, x326

A graduate of Wellington High School, Mrs. Becher earned a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from Miami University and Master's degrees in Educational Administration and Curriculum & Instruction from Ashland University.  She previously worked as a Business & Technology teacher at Columbia High School as well as Lorain County JVS and Medina County Career Center.



Terri Jones, Special Education Supervisor, x337

A graduate of Huron High School, Ms. Jones earned her Bachelor of Education and Master of Arts (History) from the University of Memphis.  She received her Master of Education Administration from the University of Houston, Clear Lake.  Ms. Jones previously taught grades 4 through college level in Tennessee and Texas.  Before joining the EHOVE Administrative Team, she served as Principal at Phoenix Central in Newark for ten years.



Laura Dowdell, Adult Education Director, x291

Mrs. Dowdell is a lifelong resident of Rochester and a graduate of New London High School. She earned her Bachelor's in Special Education from Ashland University, a Master's in Guidance Counseling from Cleveland State University and administrative licensure from Ashland University. She comes to EHOVE from Lorain County JVS where she served as Adult Education Supervisor. 



David Jenkins, Operations Director, x325

Mr. Jenkins resides in Milan, Ohio. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.




Timothy Coffman, Treasurer, x253

Mr. Coffman is a Castalia resident who brought 15+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting with him to EHOVE when hired as Treasurer in 2015. He was the Treasurer/CFO for Benton-Carroll-Salem and Old Fort Local School Districts, and held positions as a financial analyst, accountant and management consultant with companies in Sandusky and Columbus. A graduate of Margaretta High School, he earned a Business Administration (Financial Concentration) from Bluffton University and also completed Master’s courses from Ashland University in School Law & Ethics and School Finance & Economics.
